Northern Lights Energy is a young, dynamic company that operates in the energy and transportation sectors. We focus on investing in projects that have positive effects for the community and use the country’s rich resources. Our projects must be profitable and show potential for subsequent growth.

Our company guidelines require that we establish our own projects, although we also invest in other companies or in projects created outside the company.

At NLE, we aim to launch projects that will benefit the community. We manage and cultivate them with the objective of exporting the knowledge and experience they bring. The underlying principles that underpin our choice of projects are social responsibility and value for the community in Iceland. These tenets strongly influence our selection and help us make our decisions.

Carefully selected partners supervise individual projects, introducing computer software or mechanical systems in addition to their extensive know-how. When we choose a partner to oversee a project or subsidiary, we take into account the entire lifespan of the work.
